New Kids On The Block & Backstreet Boys Form Supergroup

It's been announced that the NKOTBSB are to release an album showcasing classic tracks from New Kids On The Block & Backstreet Boys, due for a UK release this October.

If you ignore the fact that the initials actually elude to “New Kids On The Back Street Boys” for a second, you'll also be made aware that the pop legends are to join together to tour the UK early in 2012.

In addition to the new NKOTBSB recordings and the classic tracks from each boy band, NKOTBSB debut a newly recorded mash-up of smash hits from both groups.

Combined, the two bands have sold in excess of 200 million albums over three decades. New Kids On The Black had back-to-back internation number one tracks “Hangin' Tough” (1988) and “Step By Step” (1990), while Backstreet Boys are officially the biggest selling boy band of all time.
