Make Sparks – September Tour and New Single

Dundee indie rockers Make Sparks will be on the road in September with a seven date Scottish tour to support the release of new single Your Heart’s On Fire on September 5.

The three members of the band, Craig Parker (guitar & vocals), Bobby Garland (bass & vocals) and Adam Parker (drums & vocals), have been making music together since their early teens.

Having toured extensively, notching up supports with the likes of Feeder, Attack Attack, and Sucioperro, playing festivals such as T in The Park, Wickerman, Wizard, and Oxjam over the last 2 years, the band has acquired a very strong and varied fan base. After taking time out to write new material, fans of the band are eagerly anticipating their return and the brand new single.

Make Sparks have been signed by booking agents Mainstage Artists, and the September tour dates will be:

6 – PJ Malloys, Dunfermline
7 – Captain’s Rest – Glasgow
8 – Drummond, Aberdeen
9 – Café, Stirling
10 – Dexters, Dundee

Your Heart’s On Fire is the first part of the band’s longer term plans to unleash their debut album in early 2012. It’s pretty safe to say that you’re going to be hearing a lot more about this band.
