Described as “One of the Great Live Bands” by Chris Evans, The Saw Doctors are back with a 9 date UK Tour and new album The Further Adventures of The Saw Doctors.
The tour starts at Leeds O2 Academy on November 25th, and finishes up in the Manchester O2 Apollo on December 17th. The band's guitarist/vocalist Leo Moran says he's “looking forward to playing some new songs and some old favourites on the upcoming 20th Anniversary tour of the UK”.
The Saw Doctors broke records books back in 1990 when 'I Useta Lover' spent nine weeks at the top spot. making it Ireland's best-selling single of all time. After that success came the No 2 hit, 'N17', and their chart-topping album, If This Is Rock And Roll, I Want My Old Job Back.
They haven't stopped since, they currently have seven studio albums including their Best of collection To Win Just Once – The Best of The Saw Doctors which was released in 2009 and went platinum within weeks.
It's been a busy couple of year's for the Irish Rock band, who played Feis Festival at Finsbury Park, London last month. Also last Christmas their acapella version of 1991 song Red Cortina saw them reach No. 1 on the iTunes chart. The band will also be doing T in the Park and Oxegen festivals this year.
