Deep Cut have announced that they are to release their new album Disorientation on September 5th.
The album is also to be preceded by single “Something's Got To Give” on August 8th.
As with their debut My Thoughts Light Fires, Disorientation has been produced by the band themselves, with recordings taking place in their rehearsal space with overdubs occurring in Mat and Emma's front room. Also creating all the visuals to accompany the album – with help from Mat's former-designer father, Mat comments on the process:
“This is all about being creative and making music that resonates with us and others rather than chasing some elusive notion of fame. It’s about making music that we are proud of rather than something that fits into a scene.”
Deep Cut are playing London's Hoxton Bar & Grill on August 2nd, as well as the Wilmington Arms on August 11th. More information can be found by following this link.
