Sonisphere Announce Two Minute Silence Plans For Slipknot Bassist

Sonisphere are to host Slipknot's first UK performance since the tragic passing of bass player Paul Gray at Knebworth on July 10th.

Headlining the Apollo Arena stage, the band would like to invite all of their fans in attendance to join them in paying their respect to Gray.

At 2pm on the Sunday, a two minute silence will be held – led from the Saturn Arena stage. Fans will also be able to leave a more personal tribute in the book of remembrance that will be left at the Metal Hammer signing tent for the duration of the weekend – with the book being passed to Slipknot at the end of t he festival.

Sonisphere Knebworth takes place July 8th-10th, and is headlined by The Big 4, Biffy Clyro and Slipknot.
