Born and raised in Los Angeles, electronic writer Short Circuit – aka Andrew Verner – recently released his debut EP Late Night Drive, a disco/dreamwave/robopop spectacular.

Available above to download freely is the Fabian remix of “How We Speak” – a remix that dials in more funk than you thought humanly possible.

Also available to download here (link) is the Sam Padrul remix of the same track – a more melodic – although just as funky jam.

So, there you are. A huge amount of funk for you on a Friday morning. It's not all about Glastonbury.
