The War On Drugs Give Away Track To Celebrate New Album Release

The War On Drugs are to follow up their 2008 debut Wagonwheel Blues with their new album Slave Ambient, an album set for an August 15th release.

And to celebrate, the group are giving away the first single from the album – entitled “Baby Missiles” – as a free download. You can grab your download now by following this link.

Recorded throughout the last four year at frontman Adam Granduciel's home studio in Philadelphia, Jeff Ziegler's Uniform Recording and Echo Mountain in Asheville, NC – the new album combines synthesisers, country-rock and 80's pop in ways you quite probably never thought possible.
