Rock super group Black Country Communion are coming to the UK in July to promote their eagerly awaited second album, which is released next week.
The Anglo-American classic rock group features the talents of blues rock guitarist/ vocalist Joe Bonamassa, bassist/ vocalist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Trapeze, Black Sabbath), drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin), and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater).
Following the completion of their US summer tour, the band will play shows at Llandudno Cymru Arena (Saturday 23 July), London’s High Voltage Festival (Sunday 24 July), Leeds O2 Academy (Tuesday 26 July), Newcastle O2 Academy (Wednesday 27 July), Glasgow 02 Academy (Friday 29 July), and the Manchester Academy (Saturday 30 July).
Black Country Communion released its self-titled debut album in September 2010 to rave reviews. The follow up, to be called “2”, will be released in the UK on June 13 via Mascot Records, followed by a US release on June 14 on the J&R Adventures label.
