In other news – Lady Gaga's album Born This Way kept Adele off top spot for the second week in a row in a week that revealed that year-to-date US album sales moved into the black for the first time in more than five years, musicweek.com revealed.
They talk of how Nielsen SoundScan reveals 125.86m albums have been sold in the States so far this year, compared with 125.42m at the same point in 2010. Album sales have not been up on a year-to-date basis since January 2006. Good news, no?
