Pitbull Dethrones Bruno Mars To Notch First No1 Proper

American rapper Pitbull (real name Armando Christian Pérez) has notched his first number one UK hit as a lead artist with his track “Give Me Anything”, unceremoniously removing Bruno Mars from the top spot with his track “The Lazy Song”.

“Give Me Everything” features Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, and is one of those hands-in-the-air, club-thumping, music-by-numbers kind of songs.

Meanwhile, Adele has retained her number one spot in the UK album chart with 21 – her seventeenth week in the chart.
