Kings of Leon are due to release their next single “Back Down South” on June 27th through Columbia Records. The single, taken from their multi-platinum fifth album Come Around Sundown, has quickly become a live standout and fan favourite since its unveiling last summer.
Following the race reviews of their recent Coachella headline slot, Kings of Leon return to Europe this month for a two month long series of huge outdoor & stadium concerts, beginning at Slane Castle in Ireland. The group then headline shows in Coventry, Sunderland, Manchester, Isle of Wight festival and a return to London's Hyde Park for two huge shows before finishing their UK run at Edinburgh's Murrayfield stadium. On June 1st they will play at London's O2 Arena – a rescheduled date following the first at the venue last December that postponed their concert. They will be joined by a special array of guests, including Elbow, White Lies, Thin Lizzy, Mona & The Whigs, Paul Weller, Zac Brown Band & The Walkmen.
