Glasgow's Alternative To Eurovision

Looking to avoid Saturday’s Eurovision Song Contest? Then, if you are around Glasgow, we have just the thing for you.

Instinctive Raccoon presents an alternative to Eurovision – the debut of We Were Promised Jetpacks’ side project Hairy Area at Stereo on Saturday 14th May.

Hairy Area comprises of 3 Jetpacks and features members of Endor, Sebastian Dangerfield and Lady North.

We Were Promised Jetpacks are a highly rated Edinburgh indie band who relocated to Glasgow a couple of years back. The band released an EP, The Last Place You'll Look, in April 2010 comprising unreleased tracks and swelling, orchestrally-inspired rewrites of songs from their debut album These Four Walls.
