Stream Franz Ferdinand EP Released Today

Indie Scot-poppers Franz Ferdinand have released an EP today, featuring a collection “of covers of our songs by people whose music we love.”, as the band themselves put it.

You can stream the entire EP above freely, thanks to the nice people at Domino Record Co. You might be interested to learn that physical copies are also available on CD & lovely black vinyl of the EP originally released on 12″ for Record Store Day.

As far as I'm concerned, the highlight of the release is their cover of Stephin Merritt (of Magnet Fields)'s Dream Again; its lo-fi, ambience dripping with subversiveness.
