Rock For Funds in Glasgow on Sunday

Glasgow’s Rock for Funds 2011 takes place this Sunday (1 May) at two city centre venues and features some of the best Covers / Tribute / Signed & Unsigned bands from around Scotland.

The venues taking part in the event are Ivory Blacks & Pivo Pivo. The large number of bands seeking to play has led to the addition of the second venue.

At Ivory Black’s the show will kick off at 2pm, hosted by Rock Radio’s Father Ted, and is headlined by covers band Maiden Scotland and rockers Attica Rage. Meanwhile at Pivo Pivo it is a 5pm start for a show hosted by Real Radio’s Fraser Thomson and headlined by Debrasco and Echo-Base

The event is in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Foundation. There will be a variety of auctions and other fundraising activities leading up to the day itself.
