London group Trogons have released the video for their new A-side “Contina”, which will be realised on April 25th on a limited run of hand-numbered transpired flexidiscs. Mmmmm, oop.
New London-based label X-Ray Recordings are putting out the release. Why the name? X-Rays were used as a readily available material for making flexidiscs to distribute underground punk and jazz records prohibited in the Soviet Union. Of course they were, we're all kicking ourselves.
If you're a collector, connoisseur or just plan lover of experimental pop, this release is definitely one for you. I'm hoping to get my hands on one!
