First Hawkins – Now Grohl; Foo's Film 'Incredibly Uncomfortable'

As we reported earlier in the week, the upcoming Foo Fighters documentary Back And Forth was not strictly endorsed (shall we say) by drummer Taylor Hawkins – and his comments have been somewhat echoed today by frontman Dave Grohl.

Grohl told BBC Newsbeat: “I watched the movie first before the band did. I asked to watch it before the band did because I didn't want it to break up our band.”

He also commented that he felt “Incredibly uncomfortable” viewing the documentary, and that some parts were “Hard to watch”. Scenes following Taylor Hawkins' 2001 attempted suicide are included in the documentary, which has been released in 80 cinemas across the U.S.
