The best of current British and international music was celebrated at the brand new home of The BRIT Awards with MasterCard, The O2 Arena. The Awards, which featured more live music than ever before, prove that British music has never been more relevant and the show signaled a new era for the UK's most prestigious music ceremony.
Hosted by James Corden, the night saw performances from Take That, Adele, Rihanna, Mumford & Sons, Plan B, Arcade Fire, Tinie Tempah and Cee Lo Green (featuring special guest Paloma Faith).
This year artists were battling it out for the newly restyled Vivienne Westwood bespoke statue that are exclusive to the 2011 winners.
