Lady Gaga – Born This Way

So today is the day Lady Gaga drops her long awaited and little-leaked new single 'Born this Way' You can listen to it on various sites across the worldwide web, and by the time you read this it will more than likely be universally available on link.

So how does the much anticipated new release sound? Well pretty much exactly the same as 'Express Yourself' by Madonna for the majority. Its fast, its quirky and its very preachy. Although the lyrics are questionable in places at least its revelevant and not about 'Fireworks' or 'Grenades' et al. “I'm beautiful in my way,'Cause God makes no mistakes, I'm on the right track, baby , I was Born This Way”

So from the point of view of somebody who can take or leave Miss Gaga, my unbias opinion is that this is another slice of mainstream melting, bona fide pop brilliance. She has the formula and shes sticking to it and as 'Born This Way' will no doubt top the charts on all corners of the globe, whio can blame her.

You may despise Lady Gaga or like the millions of her 'monsters' all over the world, you may worship the ground she walks on. But whatever camp you fall into, you had better get used to 'Born This Way' as its going to be played to death on every radio station, every TV programme and every dance floor near you in the very near future.
