Carl Barat releases a new single ‘Death Fires Burn at Night’ on 4th April 2011. The track features on some editions of his eponymous solo album released in October year and soon became a live favourite.
Carl has also been forced to reschedule his previously announced UK tour until March/April. Tickets for all previously announced dates are still valid, or can be returned for a refund to the point of purchase. New dates have been added in Edinburgh and London but unfortunately the shows in Norwich, Bristol and Glasgow were unable to be rescheduled. For this Carl apologies to fans and he hopes to return to these towns later in the year. Again, tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase. The NME Awards show on the 20th February will go ahead at the legendary Oxford Street 100 Club venue.
2010 was a hugely busy year for Carl with the release of his solo album, first book, his debut appearance on the stage in a play and of course, several shows with his old band The Libertines. ‘Death Fires Burn at Night’ and these dates carry on from last year’s activity with lots more planned for later this year.
