Glasvegas Announce More Dates

GLASVEGAS have announced further live dates for March 2011 to preview their forthcoming album ‘EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK ’.

The first three shows in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London sold out within hours of going on sale and the band just completed a successful eight date January tour of the more remote part of Scotland.

They have also confirmed the first single from the album will be ‘EUPHORIA, TAKE MY HAND’ which will be available digitally as a single track download from 7th February and released physically and as a download EP with extra tracks from 28th March.

Already available from the band’s website is a free download. ‘The World Is Yours’ is the first new music taken from the forthcoming album and was made Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ immediately on him hearing it. It was recently described by the NME as “a mega tune which crescendos into a glorious climax of cobweb-dissolving noise-pop.” A video to accompany the song (and preview the album) can be watched at link .

The album is set for release on 4th April 2011 and was written in Santa Monica and produced by Flood.
