The BRIT Awards 2011 with MasterCard today announce that James Corden will host this year’s ceremony at The O2 Arena in London on Tuesday 15th February.
James is one of most talented and talked about young actors and writers in the country and is among the most respected and in-demand names in television.
James said: ‘I have always loved The BRITs and I am honoured to have been asked to host such a prestigious event’.
Following last year’s spectacular 30th anniversary celebrations, 2011 marks the beginning of a new era for Britain’s most prestigious music awards ceremony. Among the high profile changes set to make The BRIT Awards 2011 like no other in the show’s history are a new home for the ceremony itself, a bespoke BRIT statue styled by Vivienne Westwood, the inclusion of artists in the Voting Academy and a newly formatted show that climaxes with the MasterCard British Album Of The Year Award.
