Celebrity In Reality

When American’s put on a celebrity special of a reality show they do it right. There’s less barrel scrapping than their British counterparts and not so many “models” that are actually only famous for selling their kiss and tell on some sleazy star.

This has been proved by the line up for this year’s Celebrity Apprentice. Fighting it out to be “hired” by Donald Trump this year include heavyweights like Lil Jon, Meatloaf and La Toya Jackson. If that’s not enough, David Cassidy (one for the mum’s there!) and Gary Busey have also signed up to try and raise money for their chosen charities. Deaf Oscar winning actress Marlee Matlin, Dionne Warwick, baseball legend Jose Canseco and supermodel Niki Taylor are also in the starting line up.

Compare this to the “Star studded” line up we’re currently watching on Dancing on Ice… Kerry “I love reality shows” Katona (and that’s being polite), Ellen “famous for being Frank Lampard’s ex” Rives, Chloe “I have famous parents” Madeley and ex-soap stars galore! Not quite the same league really, are they?

Anyway, I’m trying my hardest to stay away from this sort of drivel this year (until Britain’s got talent is back on!)
