Twin Atlantic Announce Single Release Date And Album Title

We’re very pleased to announce that Scottish punk rockers, Twin Atlantic are set to release their single, ‘Edit Me’ on 14th February which is taken from their debut album ‘Free’, out in Spring ’11.

The band embark on a national tour next week starting on the 19th and will be supporting Angels and Airwaves on the European leg of their tour. As well as this they have also just announced that they’ll be playing at one of the HMV Next Big Thing shows on February 12th at the London Garage.

Never a band to rest on their laurels, hotly-tipped Glasgow natives Twin Atlantic hit the ground running this year with their first headline tour & new single of 2011.

‘Edit Me’ had its first spin on The Rock Show on BBC Radio 1 to huge fan response. Twin Atlantic immediately began trending on Twitter & the Internet was a flurry of excitement that there is new music hitting the streets. ‘Edit Me’ will be available for download on February 14th & will include an exclusive B-Side of ‘Running From Money’. The band recently finished recording their highly anticipated debut album, ‘Free’ at Red Bull Studio in Santa Monica with über producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies).

Vocalist & Guitar maestro Sam McTrusty has this to say about the tour:

“We are really looking forward to this tour. We have supported so many bands over the last year with next to no headline shows & that has made us really miss the vibe & community of our wee fan base. This is us getting back to what we do best & it is only made all the better that we have just finished recording our debut full-length album. We will be playing some new songs that define the new direction for us, & we can't wait to let people hear what we have been working on. To top it off, it'll be great to be back on the road with Tom DeLonge and Angels & Airwaves for the shows in Europe.”
