Here we have a brand new Paper Crows track called 'Fingertips'. It's a beautiful song to whet your appetites in time for the release of their second single 'Follow the Leader' which is out on the 21st February. Nick Grimshaw has been giving 'Fingertips' plenty of airplay on Radio One in recent weeks.
Their first single 'Stand Alight' was featured on lots and lots of great blogs and sites and also got them a Guardian's New Band of The Day. It also gave them the chance to play Offset festival and support Jamie Woon at XOYO.
Sultry singer Emma Panas has been obsessively writing songs since she was 14 years old. Now still only 19, her lyrical maturity and obvious wisdom beyond her years hide behind two giant sparkling green eyes that dominate her striking manga princess-eque visage. Beautiful and bright in equal measure, she met her musical sparring partner Duncan McDougall (24) eighteen months ago at music college in Kilburn and the pair immediately bonded in the corner of their vocal techniques class. Instead of paying attention in lessons they wrote songs, then snuck off to Duncan’s house to record them in his makeshift bedroom studio.
They are currently in the studio recording their debut album, due for release in the summer 2011 and their next show is on the 4th February supporting Anna Calvi and Sparrow + The workshop at Camden Barfly as part of the HMV 's Next Big Thing Festival.
