Sick Puppies Announce Debut Album

Australian/US rock trio Sick Puppies are set to release their debut UK album ‘Tri-Polar’ on April 4th. Produced by Rock Mafia production team Antonina Armato and Tim James, ‘Tri-Polar’ finds Sick Puppies touching on an eclectic array of contemporary rock sounds, marrying a jagged rhythmic punch and heavy grunge drone with pop-punk sensibilities and a radio-friendly sheen.

‘Tri-Polar’ includes the visceral alt-rock roar of ‘War’, a modern spin on classic grunge with ‘You’re Going Down’, the inspiring, anti-bullying message of ‘Odd One’, the upbeat melodic rush of ‘Survive’ and the anthemic ‘Maybe’ which is currently racing up the US Billboard Top 20 charts as a breakout hit single.

The album also features the band’s debut UK single ‘All The Same’ which was released on December 20th, and has gained huge worldwide attention since the video the band made developed into a viral campaign to spread ‘Free Hugs’ around the world, gaining 65 million views and counting.

Originally released in the US 18 months ago, ‘Tri-Polar’ highlights Shimon Moore’s soaring classic rock vocals and grinding metallic riffs, Emma Anzai’s much-admired elastic bass style and Mark Goodwin’s powerfully precise rhythms. Since its release the band’s extensive touring has included shows with Deftones, Velvet Revolver and Chris Cornell.

Now with a UK tour imminent and their British fanbase growing at speed, ‘Tri-Polar’ gets its release in the UK in a brand new format with a new tracklisting as follows:

4. Odd One
