Bruno Mars Releases Grenade

The man on everyone’s lips at the moment, Bruno Mars, will release his second single ‘Grenade’ on Monday. It was released last week in the U.S., and shot straight to no.1 in the U.S. Not only that, we’ve just been told that his debut ‘Just The Way You Are’ was in fact the biggest 1st week selling single of 2010 in the U.S. It did a whopping 750,000 copies here in the UK too.

His debut album ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’ has been top of the pre-order charts for weeks; that is finally coming out on 24th Jan. I probably don’t need to tell you any more, but this is going to be huge!

Bruno Mars has already taken the UK by storm since releasing his debut single in September – he has headlined a sold out London show and supported friend and singer Travie McCoy on a string of UK and European dates. As well as this, his debut single ‘Just The Way You Are’ went straight to Number 1 in the UK charts and has now sold over 750,000 since its release – a feat that is hard to come by these days for new artists. All three singles combined, including the No. 1 smash hit ‘Nothin on You’ with B.o.B and ‘Billionaire’ with Travie McCoy have not only marked Bruno as a credible and versatile up-and-coming artist but have totalled over 1.8 million sales to date!

Having spent the past few years writing and co-writing songs for the likes of Flo Rida, Travie McCoy, Sugababes, Alexandra Burke and B.o.B, Bruno is now stepping out as an artist in his own right and if the success of Just The Way You Are is anything to go by… this Hawaiian native, now based in L.A, is set to take on the world.
