Taking place in June, the first major festival of the summer will see headline performances from three of the biggest bands in the world; Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters and closing the weekend Kasabian. Newly reformed Pulp will make their first UK festival appearance ahead of Foo Fighters on Saturday.

With The Script, Plan B, Pixie Lott, James Walsh, Two Door Cinema Club and a guest performance from Jeff Beck already lined up for the main stage on Sunday, it’s certainly going to be a weekend to remember. Join us as we celebrate the 10th birthday in style.

With ten albums under their belts and a career spanning almost 25 years, the critically acclaimed Manic Street Preachers return with ‘Postcards From A Young Man’. Defiantly, unapologetically bold and forthright, the new album may be their best yet. Having topped the charts with both albums and singles including, “If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next”, ‘Tsumani’, ‘The Everlasting’ and ‘You Stole the Sun from my Heart’, Manic Street Preachers are classed as one of the most interesting and inspirational bands of their generation. Headlining the Big Top on Sunday, the Welsh 3-piece are sure to rock the Festival.

After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed Public Image Ltd in 1978. With their experimental sound fusing rock, dance, folk, ballet, pop and dub, Public Image Ltd are regarded as producing some of the most diverse music of the post-punk era; and are cited as one of the most innovative and influential bands in music history, making them a perfect fit for this year’s eclectic Isle of Wight Festival.

After announcing their reformation earlier this year, 15 years on from the release of their million-selling debut ‘All Change’, Britpop giants Cast are back and ready to pull out all the stops in the Big Top. Following a massive UK tour, the band will be returning to the studio to record a new album, set for release in early 2011.

Hadouken! rightfully earned a reputation as a live act not to be missed, and their latest run of shows look set to exceed all expectations. Their second album, 'For The Masses', reached the top 20 earlier in 2010 and Hadouken! are sure to keep the crowd moving in the Big Top with their experimental, genre-hopping sound.

Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club will be will be making their first appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival on the main stage on Sunday. The music-mad trio and their debut album – ‘Tourist History’ – fizzes with invention and sparkling tunes. It’s undeniably pop, and draws on electronica/electro and rock – an ideal way to start a Sunday!
The Isle of Wight Festival takes place 10th – 12th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight
