‘Getting Ready For Christmas Day’ is the excellent new single from one of the world’s best songwriters, Paul Simon. Out now on Hear Music via iTunes and available to download for free on link, the uptempo track features excerpts from the sermon ‘Getting Ready for Christmas Day’, recorded Oct. 1941 by the Reverend J. M. Gates with his congregation.

Produced by Phil Ramone and Paul Simon and with Paul Simon on vocals and electric guitar, the track also features Edie Brickell on harmony vocal, Vincent Nguini on rhythm guitar and Jim Oblon on drums.
