More Acts Added To Snowbombing Line Up

It may be ruddy Baltic outside, but here at ‘Snowbombing – Driven by Volvo’ HQ things are hotting up as we unleash yet another wave of sizzling live acts and DJs to warm your musical chestnuts on!

Opening its doors for the very first time in 2011 will be a brand spanking new underground live venue that will bring the freshest up-and-coming talent to the mountains!

Already confirmed to play the new venue is rising star, the amazing Jamie Woon. Fusing dubstep beats and house grooves with his rich bluesy vocals to delightful effect, his latest single ‘Night Air’, which was produced by Burial has marked him out as a definite one to watch. We are very excited to welcome him to the bombing bill!

Joining him will be the amazing Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs aka Orlando Higginbottom. Donning his trademark dinosaur outfit and bringing his unique sound to the Snowbombing table, get ready to gobble him down in huge chunks as he treats you lucky Snowbombers to an awe-inspiring performance like no other! Warm your chilly bits on that!

They will be joined by mysterious lo-fi London duo Summer Camp, rising pop starlet Sunday Girl and the amazing Talking Pictures. Phew!

And that’s not all folks! Tumbling down the mountain picking up increasing speed is a snowball of brand new DJs who have also been added to the ‘Snowbombing Driven by Volvo’ 2011 bill. Huzzah!

Brace yourself, as sending a rumble through the mountains is a man who needs no introduction, progressive house legend himself Mr John Digweed! Also confirmed is the mind blowing Henrik Schwarz who has been smashing the festival circuit this summer with his unmissable dance-your-heart-out sets. His remix of ‘Omar Ft. Stevie Wonder I’m feeling you’ was a 2010 Summer anthem and we are pleased as punch to have him join our DJ bill!

Joining him will be Innervisions heavyweight Dixon. A super star DJ par excellence with bags of experience, Dixon is no stranger to getting a party started. Expect a super tight expertly put together set that wont fail to keep you dancing throughout. Vundabar!

Also smashing his way onto the Bombing bill will be none other than man of the UK bass scene SBTRKT. 2010 has seen him shoot to fame with remixes of the likes of Tinie Tempah and Gorrilaz amongst others. Donning a mask and bringing his own unique sound to the snowy mountains, don’t miss an amazing set from SBTRTK as he lives up to the hype and takes Snowbombing by storm.

Also confirmed is funked up inter-dimensional rising star Space Dimension Controller. Shouting in all the right places and gaining praise from the likes of Kyle Hall amongst others, this boy is going from strength to strength and we are very excited to have him onboard.
