Legendary Liverpool outfit The Farm are commemorating the 20th anniversary of the release of their classic hit ‘All Together Now’ with a live performance in their hometown.
The original line-up will be playing Liverpool’s O2 Academy on Saturday 4th Dec 2010, exactly 20 years since their classic single was released and became a number one hit in many countries around the world.
The song spent an incredible three months in the Top Forty and became an anthem for a generation and has been adopted worldwide as a football/ anti-war classic.
The group will be performing songs from their number one album ‘Spartacus’ as well as some of their other 8 Top Forty singles.
The Farm will be joined by DJ’s like Andy Carroll and Mike Knowler who were part of the underground dance scene in the North West and they will recreate the heady days of the State Ballroom’s biggest dance night, “Daisy”
Lead singer Peter Hooton commented ‘We thought we would go back to our roots and create an event which would attempt to recreate the atmosphere of 1990. For the people who were there it will be a trip back in time but for the younger generation it is a chance to witness what all the fuss was about. I’m really excited about the O2 gig as it reminds me of the Royal Court where we used to play and we hope to put on a night to remember’.
