The Camden Crawl surges ahead into the festive season with the 3rd instalment of its CC 2011 Tips series on Wednesday 15th December. Following the rip roaring success of the first two shows, and their coincidental holiday themes, the final show of 2010 will double as the Crawl’s Christmas holiday celebration.
Whilst November’s CC2011 Tips explored the Crawl’s heavier side, featuring performances by Turbowolf, Chickenhawk, Hedoniacs and Fearless Vampire Killers, the December show is set to witness a notable shift in musical direction. Showcasing the exuberant musicality of Wild Palms alongside the ethereal harmonics of Leeds’ Bear Driver, the occasion will unveil two stunning newcomers The Slow Revolt and Heart Kill Giant. To further enhance the festivities, a free glass of mulled wine will feature in the evening.

Wild Palms
CC: “Post Punk industrialists Wild Palms have refused to stand still since their 2009 debut ‘Over Time’. Formed in Southgate, and inspired by Billy Childish, Joy Division, The Fall and Bauhaus, their melancholic wash of dazzlingly technicality and demon drumming has gained them fans far and wide.”

Bear Driver
CC: “Dreamy-psychedelic-pop musical collective Bear Driver has just completed a summer packed with festival appearances, gaining accolades wherever they have played. Described as “…kind of like children's party entertainment by Arcade Fire”, Bear Driver mix fuzzy pop songs with ambitious choruses and a playful use of instruments.”

The Slow Revolt
CC: “The Slow Revolt draws esoteric strands of electronica, UK bass and post-rock into powerful, avant-pop songs. This solo project from the vocalist/guitarist of experimental rock group The Feral Text, emerges from live looped webs of guitar, rich freeform vocals, raw synths and dense polyrhythms to create an intensely powerful live experience.:

Heart Kill Giant
CC: “Heart Kill Giant's melodies slow burning tales of love marinated in whisky, neglect and regret. One night last winter, after meeting the Devil on Coldharbour Lane, they were inspired to record 12 songs…which they did to great success.”
