Swedish House Mafia Announce Live Dates

Superstar DJ/production team and artists in their own right, Swedish House Mafia have confirmed details of three live shows, entitled ‘One Night Only’, in the UK next summer. The dates – the trio’s first since the release of their collaborative album ‘Until One’ which hit the charts at #2 (#1 on ITunes) – include a major all-standing event at London’s prestigious Alexandra Palace.

With two Top Ten hits to their name in the shape of their crossover smashes ‘One (Your Name)’ and the Tinie Tempah collaboration ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, the shows confirm Swedish House Mafia as the underground kings who have cracked the mainstream.

Tickets for all shows go on general sale from Friday December 3rd at a price of £27.50 for London, and £25 for Glasgow and Manchester. An exclusive pre-sale for the shows (which are all 18+) is available at link from 9am on Dec 1st.

The popularity of Swedish House Mafia (aka Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso) has continued to pulsate in recent months. Combined sales of ‘One (Your Name)’ and ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ are now reaching the 500,000 mark, while the album ‘Until One’ is fast approaching Gold status.

Their recent performance with Usher at the American Music Awards announced their talents to their widest audience to date and has seen their online profile explode with almost 600,000 fans on Facebook. This mass breakthrough is reflected in the sell-out success of their infamous Masquerade Motel events which hit Ibiza, Miami and Las Vegas this year.

The Swedish House Mafia experience has also been captured on film with the recent release of the documentary ‘Take One’. Directed by Christian Larson (Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), the film follows the Mafia over the course of two years, almost 300 gigs and fifteen countries, and illustrates how a whole new generation are again pioneering electronic music to define youth culture for millions.
