The Wanted To Release Lose My Mind

The UK’s new number one boyband are set to start 2011 as they mean to go on with the brilliant new single, Lose My Mind, which will be released on 26TH December 2010.

Lose My Mind is an anthemic rock ballad that shows off Max, Siva, Jay, Nathan and Tom’s characteristically mature, edgy vocals and breaks them out from the traditional boyband mould.

Jay commented, “It's a pop-rock tune about someone playing mind games with you, as you try and fail, to blot it all out.”

The video of Lose My Mind was filmed in Coney Island by Award winning film-maker Nigel Dick, who has directed over 300 music videos, including ‘Oops I Did It Again’ by Britney Spears, ‘Sweet Child O’Mine’ by Guns n’ Roses and ‘Champagne Supernova’ by Oasis.

Undoubtedly the biggest new band to smash into the charts in the last 12 months with debut single All Time Low hitting the number one spot this summer, followed quickly by a number two hit with the ballad Heart Vacancy. They have built up a huge fanbase, with over 15 million plays of their videos on YouTube, and over 450,000 fans on Facebook. With their eagerly anticipated self-titled debut album storming into the top five, the boys have most definitely cemented themselves as a powerful force in UK pop.

Having wowed crowds with an amazing show at The Summer Time Ball at Wembley Stadium earlier this year, The Wanted boys take to the live stage again at the Capital Jingle Bell Ball in December, along high profile artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, Kylie and Nicole Scherzinger, and the T4 Stars of 2010 event, with the best of British, such as Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding and JLS.

The boys are also taking off on their own nationwide tour, which kicks off in March in Manchester. Further tour dates below:
