Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra have embraced the latest innovative technology by employing the virtual marketing tool 3DiCD for their brand new album Rockinghorse, which is released Monday 15 November on Rhino UK.
Fans can now immerse themselves in a full 3D interactive version of the album, with full access to sleeve notes and artwork plus audio samples and links to buy and share.
The 3DiCD tool, recently used for album campaigns for ‘An Introduction to Syd Barrett’ and ‘Metallic Spheres’ by The Orb featuring David Gilmour, is designed to sit anywhere online such as an artist’s Facebook or website and since launching has had great success in promoting releases across new media platforms.
Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra’s Rockinghorse will mark their first new studio album since 2008’s The Informer, and is a 19 track collection of classic Jools Holland compositions, interpretations and covers, with very special guest collaborators including musical icons Alison Moyet, Michael McDonald, Chas & Dave, David Sanborn, Booker T. and Allen Toussaint.
