Chromeo Announce Elly Jackson Collaboration

Chromeo have teamed up with La Roux’s Elly Jackson for thrilling electro-funk duet, Hot Mess. The original version appears on Chromeo’s current album, Business Casual, however Jackson’s long held affection for the Canadian duo’s output lead to studio sessions in London and, in turn, the new and recently completed redux. Hot Mess marks a rare appearance for Jackson beyond her work as La Roux. Hot Mess itself is an ice-cool break up song and tale of long distance love gone wrong, reminiscent of classic 80s duets such as Prince & Sheena Easton’s You Got The Look, Pet Shop Boys & Dusty Springfield’s What Have I Done To Deserve This or The Human League’s Don’t You Want Me. Hot Mess will be released as a single on 17th January complete with a video and remixes by Turbo Recording founder Tiga and Duck Sauce who recently stormed the charts with their top 3 single, Barbra
Streisand.
