There’s a special event taking place in London on Thursday 11th November featuring a brilliant assembly of London’s finest DJ talent to help raise money for a very worthy cause: Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The event has been organised by Abigail McLachlan who is hoping to raise as much money as possible and to do has got several leading DJs to offer their services and they are taking over the Old Queens Head in Islington. Stanton Warriors (Dom B Dj Set), Freestylers and Tayo all star along with Dom Chung, Wandy, Sophie Lloyd and Phat Phil Cooper’s riotous take on Karaoke.
The event will be fun-filled and the unique opportunity to witness guide dog fancy dress is reason enough to atten! But if you need any more prompting, its in aid of a great cause, has a stellar line-up of Dj’s and guests can also try your hand at karaoke (dressed in a dog costume of course!).
All door proceeds from the event will be going to the Guide Dog’s charity, as will a percentage of the bar. Guide Dog’s work lies in raising, training and supporting guide dog partnerships. This is invaluable in giving blind and partially sighted people independence and dignity. Usef, a 15 month old golden retriever, currently in training to become a guide dog will be there with his trainer Heath to give people a chance to meet one of these amazing animals and understand more about what they do.
So come down, have a fantastic evening, drink, dance and make a difference!
