Fatboy Slim And Magnetic Man Added To Snowbombing

With the likes of metal rave legends The Prodigy, the mighty Pendulum LIVE, Mobo award winning Tinie Tempah, rising hip hop star Professor Green, queen of the streets Ms Dynamite and indie rockers The Sunshine Underground already in the bag for 2011, the worlds biggest and baddest show on snow just keeps getting better and better!

Take cover because shaking the snow off the trees for yet another amazing year will be the one, the only Fatboy Slim! Having smashed the forest party in 2010, the mighty Norman Cook is back. He enjoyed himself so much last year that he just can’t keep away and we look forward to one of his smiley-faced glowstick-inducing sets in the Racket Club in 2011!

Fatboy Slim says “The return of the bumble bee… What an unbridled honour to be invited to perform at Snowbombing – Driven by Volvo for a record second year. Bring on the mountains, bring on the fancy dress, bring on the igloo, bring the noise… And remember, no snow, no show….”

And that’s not all as joining the huge stack of live acts already confirmed for what looks set to be an epic 2011 will be Dub-step super group Magnetic Man. On a mission to give dup-step back to the kids, Skream, Benga and Artwork bring a revitalised form of dub-step to the table taking it out of basement clubs firmly into the mainstream. With the huge ‘I Need Air’ taking festival crowds by storm this summer, they are huge right now and we are pleased as punch to welcome them to the mountains!

Also live this year and returning to the bill for a second year by popular demand will be rising drum and bass star Sub Focus. With a new and incredible live set in tow complete with full light show, get ready for a melt down as the London DJ turns up the heat!

Still hungry? Well fear not as Snowbombing HQ has lined up a selection of the tastiest and most eclectic DJs around for you gobbling pleasure and there are still loads more to unwrap! Delicious! Joining Fatboy Slim on the DJ line up and stepping up to the plate to feed those bass loving Snowbombers amongst you, will be the delectable Chase & Status, RAM records’ darling Andy C and the ever-impressive Shy FX.

Also on batting for team bass, will be Dubstep heavyweight Joker who will be bringing his own colourful blend of perfectly formed bass driven dubstep and grime to proceedings. He will also be joined by the scrumptious Plastician, who will be treating us to one of his high energy cross over sets.

Big players Benga & Skream will be sticking around for the duration to treat us to a DJ set and the legendary Rodigan will also be on hand to wow you with his amazing blend of Reggae, Dance Hall and Dub. Huzzah!

Also confirmed is man of the moment, Ramadanman. Deviating away from any conventional Dubstep template David Kennedy (as his mum knows him) is rising higher and higher. Awash with potent bass frequencies and drifting synths his sound is as unique as Mayrhofen itself and we are chuffed to welcome him to the hot tub!

Flying high over the mountains will be disco pop legend, the amazing Aeroplane. Following the departure of his co-pilot last year Aeroplane, is now the solo project of Vito De Luca and has gone from strength to strength. Expect an effortless mix of nu-disco, balaeric disco and everything in between as this DJ de jour shows us how it’s done! Marvelous!

Also squeezing into the gondola for 2011 will be the mighty Fake Blood. After missing his set last year the electro legend will be returning to Austria and we are proud to welcome him back!

Swapping his urban jungle of Detroit will be the one, the only, Daddy of Detroit techno Carl Craig! Bringing his flawless hallmark blend of concise beats, distinctive warmth and glorious fluency to the mountains. We are very excited to have him onto the Bombing bill. Wow!

After bringing down the Schussel in 2010 Cross Town Rebel and sickeningly good DJ Jamie Jones will be returning to treat you lucky Snowbombers to another of his breathtaking sets. Also confirmed will be techno legend, Claude Von Stroke, house god Theo Parrish, Disco warrior Greg Wilson, Welove resident and house legend Paul Woolford also onboard and taking one for the ladies will be the amazing Cashmere Misfit.
