Twin Atlantic To Support My Chemical Romance

Fast-rising Glasgow band Twin Atlantic achieved another lifetime ambition today, when they were handpicked by My Chemical Romance to support them on their whirlwind tour of Great Britain starting this weekend. Twin Atlantic have already supported The Gaslight Anthem and Blink-182 this summer in the UK and Europe.

Lead singer Sam McTrusty said, “My Chemical Romance have definitely been an inspiration to us, in terms of how much passion and energy they put into their band. I’ve been a fan of theirs since I was 16, and I’ve done the whole queue-outside-for-hours thing to watch them play, so yeah this is pretty surreal. I can’t imagine a better way to finish the year, just a few days before we start recording our debut full-length album.”

24 – Manchester Apollo
25 – Edinburgh Corn Exchange

All shows sold out within hours of going on sale.

Twin Atlantic are about to go into the studio to record their debut album, following the success of their ‘Vivarium’ mini-album release.
