Tunited And In The City Announce Partnership

Fresh from last week’s mammoth ITC festival in Manchester, Tunited are so very pleased to announce a new partnership with In The City.

Tunited founder Midge Ure, MD Matt Stanley and In The City’s CEO Phil Coen announced the tie-in at the event last week to various media.

Both In The City and Tunited are keen heat-seekers in hot new music, providing the natural synergy between the two organisations. In The City is known for helping break in new bands and it acts like a ruler of cool. Last week, over 1500 industry people and artists attended the event, debated music industry issues and watched a-many bands play.

A number of offline and online campaigns are being worked on between In The City and Tunited, the first of which is the co-branded showcase event, due to take place early 2011. Five acts who have signed up to Tunited will be picked by a panel at Tunited and In The City and announced shortly as the line-up for this exclusive event.

Tunited MD, Matt Stanley, says: ‘I am very pleased to be working closely with Phil Coen, the CEO for In The City, to establish some online and offline projects that will begin early in 2011. We hope to be able to announce a timetable of events and projects in the next few months, that will begin with our ‘Tunited – In The City’ gig in London early next year.’
