The 2011 Gaymers Camden Crawl, scheduled for Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May, will begin celebrating its 10th birthday early with the introduction of its ‘CC Tips’ series of gigs on 28th October.
On that same day at 9:00 am, discounted early bird weekend tickets for the festival will go on sale exclusively through link. The 2011 May Bank Holiday event will mark the tenth ever Crawl since its inception in 1995.
The Gaymers Camden Crawl will replace the festival’s annual new artist competition in favour of a monthly platform to support the freshest and most exciting British talent lauded by its panel of organisers. The new CC Tips events will take place on the last Thursday of every month at the legendary Bull & Gate in conjunction with Club Fandango. Recently given a massive facelift and re-launched for its 30th year as a new music venue in Camden, there couldn’t be an establishment more apt to showcase this series to the public.
Each of these gigs will feature three brand new artists alongside a special guest veteran of Crawls past. And, in keeping with the tradition of the festival, the line ups will feature an eclectic mix of music styles representing the best new talent breaking through in their genre. Tickets for the CC Tips series will be priced at £8.00 advance and available from link. Additionally, a pair of weekend passes for the 2011 Crawl will be given away at each show to one lucky gig-goer.
