LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip Add An Extra London Show

Electronic pioneers and musical compadres LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip have announced an additional co-headline London show as part of what is fast becoming one of this years most anticipated tours. LCD Soundsystem released their third album 'This Is Happening' earlier this year to mass critical acclaim. Since then, the speculation has continued to build that this is their final album and the prelude to the end! Anyone who witnessed their sold out April tour and any one of this summers triumphant festival headline shows at 02 Wireless, Electric Picnic Reading/Leeds & Bestival or the rapturous Glastonbury performance will know that LCD are still one of the most explosive and relevant live bands around today. The band has been an omni-present live force across the world since their new line-up debuted at Coachella back in March, selling out the legendary Hollywood Bowl & stealing the show everywhere from Bonneroo to Fuji Rocks via Australia, France, Germany, Tel Aviv and beyond. Currently in the midst of an extensive US tour that takes them through to their arrival in Europe for these shows, the band will release 'The London Sessions', a career spanning jaw dropping 9 track collection of their first ever 'John Peel' style radio recordings, made earlier this Summer this November.

The 5-headed pop colossus known as Hot Chip have an enviable live reputation. With an arsenal that includes hits ‘Over and Over’, Ready For The Floor’, ‘Boy From School’ & ‘One Life Stand’ to name but a few. This summer alone has seen them storm Glastonbury as penultimate headliners on the Other Stage, perform as main support to Lady Gaga at the legendary Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, sell out New York's Summerstage in Central Park and wow Bestival for the third year in a row. All this still fresh from the critical acclaim showered upon them for their fourth long player, “One Life Stand” which garnered their first Radio 1 A-list single (One Life Stand) and lead to collaborations with likes of Peter Serafinowicz and Bonnie Prince Billie (I Feel Better), Hot Chip continue to prove they are one of the most interesting, forward thinking and most loved bands in the UK today.

Together this marks one of the most interesting & un-missable tours of the year. In addition they will be joined on tour by legendary DFA stalwart Shit Robot aka Marcus Lambkin, DJing on all dates in the wake of his acclaimed debut album 'From The Cradle To The Rave' released this month.
