The Flowerpot presents Foals live this New Year’s Eve at The HMV Forum, Kentish Town, London.
Tickets are on sale now priced at £30, available from The Flowerpot or via ticketmaster.co.uk.
Following 2009’s New Year’s Eve event which featured Mumford & Sons, Everything Everything and Johnny Flynn, this year’s bill promises another all-night party packed full of live acts, DJ’s, drinking and dancing, with many more acts to be announced soon.
Foals second album ‘Total Life Forever’ entered the UK album charts at number 8 this May to a mass of positive media coverage. They have since been nominated for a Mercury Music Award, whilst playing a string of incendiary live shows at festivals across the world… confirming them as the perfect act to ring in the New Year. Last year, fans revelled in an epic NYE countdown, climaxed by a balloon drop and DJ’s into the wee small hours, with 2010 making no smaller claims.
Hosting the second room at the all night spectacular will be Blissfields Festival, previous winner of the UK’s Best Small Festival Award; they’ll be presenting friends of the event in the shape of live acts and DJ’s.
The Flowerpot celebrate another year as one of London’s most acclaimed new music venues with the ultimate party for new music fans. This year alone, the likes of Damien Rice, Lissie and Frank Turner have played the free-to-enter north London venue, joining artists such as Laura Marling, The Kooks, Jamie T, The Drums and Mr Hudson who have all appeared since the venue’s opening in May 2009.
With such reputation, this winter they promise the definitive New Year’s Eve celebration.
