The Lead Up To Milk..

So, it's under one week until Ireland's newest, most exciting festival takes place. It's outdoor, it's LGBTQ and it's jam packed with star acts, djs, gourmet food, trannies, discos, hot tubs, dancers and general brilliance. This is MILK.

Milk have been kind enough to partner with Glasswerk for free tickets and our three ticket winners will definitely have an amazing time. Big thanks to Milk, Conway Communications and everyone who entered!

But before the festival kicks off there are preparations to be had and things to be in the know. We got you covered!

Getting to Westmeath
There will be buses by Marathon Coaches going from Dublin, Limerick, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Portlaoise, Mountmellick and Tullamore on the day of the festival, check Milk's website for full details of times and exact locations.

Date and Times
The campsite will open on Saturday (August 14th) at 9am. The festival gets into full swing at 12pm with over 70 acts performing on the day and a multitude of things to see and do for everyone of every taste. The festivities will continue until 2am. Camping (free of charge) is available on-site and the campsite will close at 2pm the following day (Sunday).

Food and Drink
There will be an apetising selection of gourmet and speciality foods available throughout the day. There is no alcohol permitted within the Main arena but there are fully stocked bars within the grounds. Revellers are permitted to bring in no more than 16 cans per person. There is a fully stocked shop on-site providing everything from camping gear to the bare essentials!

Camping
No barbeques are permitted. Campervans and cars can be parked in designated parks beside the grounds and toilets and water points will be clearly signposted.
