If you are yet to encounter Dawn Kinnard then this video may be a good place to start. It is Dawn interviewing herself!
Dawn Kinnard releases her second album Wrong Side of A Dream On the 13th September. To celebrate this she's planning a special four date residency and with typical unpredictability it is at Soho Karaoke joint The Source Below. The residency will take place throughout September on 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th with different guests filling the support slots on each night. She will also be performing at Bestival on Saturday the 11th of September on The Bandstand.
Since the release of her 2008 debut The Courtesy Fall which saw her perform live on Jools Holland and win over many critics, life has been rather interesting for Dawn Kinnard. After traveling across the US with only a gold fish and her dog Scarlett for company Dawn is back to showcase her great new album which is full of insightful tales of her adventures.
In the past she has duetted with artists such as Ed Harcourt, Jason Mraz and Cerys Matthews and more recently supported Patti Smith at The Serpentine Sessions.
