Robbie Williams confirmed for Help For Heroes gig

Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke have been confirmed as the latest artists to play the Help For Heroes benefit show at Twickenham Stadium on September 12.

As reported by BBC News some 60,000 fans and troops are expected to attend the event with proceeds going to the Help For Heroes charity, which raises funds for wounded service personnel and their families.

Robbie and Alexandra join already confirmed artists Plan B, The Saturdays and James Blunt for the one off concert to be televised by the BBC.

Comedians are also showing their support with Jack Dee, Michael McIntyre, Jason Manford and Bruce Forsyth all taking part.

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow (August 4) at 9am for more information head to Heroesconcert.com.
