Following on from last year's Arthur's extravaganza, this year Arthur's Day (September 23rd) promises not to disappoint with the likes of Paolo Nutini, Snow Patrol, José Gonzalez, The Magic Numbers, The Maccabees, The Hoosiers, Kelis, Newton Faulkner, Eliza Doolittle, Tinie Tempah, KT Tunstall, Plan B and just announced … Killer's frontman Brandon Flowers.
The celebration was created last year to mark the 250 years since Arthur Guinness signed the lease to the now iconic St. James' Gate Brewery in Dublin.
This year promises to be bigger than before, scheduling events nationwide from Dublin to Cork to Galway. Tickets have gone on sale this week, available from Ticketmaster.
Brian Duffy, Global Brand Director for Guinness, said: “Arthur’s Day is once again going to be a global ‘celebration with substance’ that will see performances from some fantastic acts and musicians across the globe. These world renowned performers will transform venues of all sizes into truly global celebrations where consumers will unite and raise a GUINNESS “To Arthur” and to the next 250 years.”
