The Hoosiers are British pop band consisting of Irwin Sparkes (vocals, guitar), Martin Skarendahl (bass guitar, acoustic guitar), and Alphonso “Alan” Sharland (drums, percussion).

Their acclaimed double platinum debut album, The Trick to Life, reached number 1 in the album charts in October 2007 and featured the top 5 hits Worried about Ray and Goodbye Mr A

The Hoosiers were one of the first major bands to engage with mflow and have since accumulated over 5000 followers on the platform and regularly flow their own music recommendations to their fans.

They will also be offering tickets to their readers and will be streaming tracks recorded at the gig on their website after the show.

The Hoosiers have also produced an exclusive video for mflow, which will show users how to sign up to this new promotion and how to access the free music they are making available.

mflow users download an easy-to-install mflow application that allows them to discover new music, follow other users, build a network of trusted sources, recommend music to others, browse, search and purchase music online.

mflow also rewards users for sharing and recommending music – If a friend or follower likes a track that a user recommends and subsequently buys it, the person recommending that track automatically receives 20% of the purchase price in the form of a credit to spend on more music.

Don Jenkins, Head of Music at mflow said, “We are really excited about this new promotion with RCA Label Group and The Hoosiers who have been really enthusiastic and proactive in helping us pull it together. mflow is the ideal platform for artists to engage with their fans and this new initiative will help create real excitement and anticipation for the bands forthcoming new album. “

Irwin of The Hoosiers says: “When we're not online doing charity work we'll be found mflowing. If music is what gets you excited then you naturally want to share it with people. Up until now that platform hasn't really existed. This is the best solution we've seen that allows access to music for all whilst still promoting a stable environment for new music to be invested in and flourish.”
