Oxegen Day 1 – Friday

Goldfrapp, Villagers, Vampire Weekend, Eliza Doolittle, Lissie, Plan B, Groove Armada, Scouting For Girls, Chipmunk, Vitalic, Arcade Fire and Jay-Z will all take to the stage today at Oxegen in Punchestown, among many others.

It's an eclectic affair, as is the norm with Oxegen, voted Europe's favourite Rock Festival last year! 52 acts will play sets on seven different stages throughout the day.

The stage times have also been released, both online and as a downloadable Iphone App for all the tech-savvy heads. Unfortunately, if you (like me) are one of the pathetic people who have not gotten the chance to go the the festival well you can just sit and wallow in your own depression. Each day Glasswerk will bring you a breakdown of who is playing and when!
