Introducing… Skyrocket Love

Skyrocket Love is a charismatic mixture of pop/rock that can satisfy the ear and win the heart of any music lover. With Influences such as Muse, Daughtry, Killers and Bon Jovi they have managed to maintain a unique alternative rock sound that has people craving for more. The band has been called “America's answer to U2 and Coldplay” and “Coldplay with an Attitude”.

Lead singer Jeremy Bassett and co-writer Merritt Graves came together over a year ago with a dream to create a sound that is relative to all, but unique enough to be their own. Within a year their fanbase tripled on terrestrial and internet radio sites, and their popularity has exploded on sites like Grooveshark.

Their harmonically soaring tracks target emotional situations that have to do with the dark and light sides of being in love, along with the emotional roller coaster you ride while transitioning through life's many changes in this overwhelming world.

With the highly anticipated release of their 13 track self-titled debut album, the band—whose lineup includes lead guitarist Russell Nelson, keyboardist Andrew Clay, bassist Curtis Corwin and drummer Jeff Maddox—is expanding beyond its roots at L.A. hotspots like the House of Blues, Busby’s East (Mile High Club) and Paladino’s for a 20-plus date spring tour that will take them throughout California, up the West Coast to Portland and Seattle and to Boise, Las Vegas and Phoenix.

The band got their name, “Skyrocket Love” ultimately from the title of a song that was on their first album. They believed it was a great representation of who they are and what they are aiming to achieve with their music. They are aiming for the top and love every step they take to reach this point along the way.

“We are here because we believe music should be relative to all. Our songs have the ability to adapt and paint the many life challenges one may be going through. At the end of the day that is what music is all about.”
