Husky Rescue Reveal New SIngle

With the release of their third studio album ‘Ship of Light’ earlier this year, Husky Rescue cemented themselves as one of Finland’s finest musical exports. The quite simply breathtaking album saw the 5-piece receiving the kind of critical acclaim they have become accustomed to and deservedly so.

‘They Are Coming’ is the third single to be taken from Ship of Light and finds the band in an experimental mood. From the eerie whistling of its opening bars, their unmistakeable dreamy sound instantly sets you adrift on cloud of relaxation on an otherworldly adventure. The vocal pairing of Marko Nyberg and Reeta Vestman’s ethereal voices seamlessly blend and enrapture, sublimely complimenting a seductive and stripped back arrangement.

The single is accompanied by a formidable collection of remixes, which offer four equally impressive re-interpretations of the beautiful track. These include hotly tipped London based outfits Warrior One and Halogen, as well as Brighton’s disco darlings Kinema, We are also offered a blissful bonus track, an exclusive acoustic reworking of the band’s last single ‘Sound of Love’. recorded in a haunted cottage in the remote Lake Bodom area of Finland.

The video for the single comes from award-winning Director Pete Riski who has worked with the band before on the stunning videos for ‘New Light Of Tomorrow’ and ‘Caravan.’
